Do you remember the last time that you went to see your doctor complaining of this thing or that? You weren’t sure what was wrong with you but you know your body and you know that something is not quite right. This doesn’t feel good, that doesn’t feel good and you didn’t know why but your this was doing that and you knew that wasn’t supposed to happen.

If without taking a single glance in your direction or looking at your chart, your doctor diagnosed your ailment and went on to prescribe medication, you might end up feeling a little less than comfortable and either press the doctor for more information, insist that he actually take a look at you or simply dismissing his opinions all together.
Finding solutions to your child support problems works in a very similar way. Many times people will write to me with a few lines about what is going on with their case and ask for a remedy for their problem. Your child support problem needs to be diagnosed in the same way that your ailing body might need to be. I regularly conduct seminars for parents with child support problems and I can tell you that a room full of people could all have very different reasons for not being able to collect and the reason for the problem is the key to the solution. The good news is that child support enforcement is a fairly easy thing to do…. if you know how to do it. Once your problem has been diagnosed and you have been given the proper prescription, child support enforcement can be as simple as taking your medication as directed.

So when you hit me up on one of my sites asking for an enforcement cure for what ails your case, please do not be put off because I do not write a prescription for you. I can do my best to provide you with tidbits of information which may help but if I gave you more than that I could be sending you off on a wild goose chase going around in circles some more and eventually you would end up dropping your case all together of out frustration or futility. I don’t want to do that to you.

Instead, what I can offer to you is this: You give me an hour of your time and all the details of your case which my little heart desires and I will use the benefit of all of my years of experience in the child support enforcement business (and that would be about 16 years, 1 business, 2 child support recovery books and numerous other tools) and provide you with the diagnosis that you need to understand your case and get yourself moving in the right direction. I will also write your prescription.

I know that your goal is to collect the support you are owed and at the end of the day to have a child support order which is both fair and appropriate for your situation. In order to do that you have to “take control” of your situation and that means “we need to lay the groundwork”.
